P-Lo Stunts on Those Who Slept on Him on New Song “Woke”
P-Lo rips off a new loosie for fans, dropping his latest banger "Woke" on Friday (April 27).
The Bay Area rhymer pulls off a party cut on this selection, which gets its uptempo club vibes from producer Cal-A. Lo pens a rhyme about stunting on those who once slept on him over the busy instrumental.
"Tryna come around, like you been around me, baby, I know you, (yeah, ayy)/I could tell you 'bout it, but won't tell you 'bout it trust me, I won't (yeah, ayy)," he croons. "No, baby, you can't get my time/Only choosing 'cause I'm in my prime/Bad thing you never hit my line/Back then you wasn't by my side/You was sleep, now you woke, now you woke gotta stunt on you/You was sleep, now you woke, now you woke gotta stunt on you."
Hopefully this joint finds its way on an upcoming project.
Lo is currently working on the follow-up album to his 2017 offering More Than Anything which featured E-40, G-Eazy, Iamsu! and more.
This summer he will be joining G-Eazy on his Endless Summer Tour. Kicking off on July 20 in Auburn, Wash., G-Eazy and P-Lo will be joined by Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign and YBN Nahmir will be landing in cities such as Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, Tampa, Fla. and more before wrapping up on Sept. 8 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
