Rick Ross Sues His Alleged Pistol-Whipping Victim

Rick Ross claps back with a lawsuit against the groundskeeper who claimed that Ross kidnapped and pistol-whipped him early in the summer. Ross and his bodyguard were arrested on June 24 for kidnapping, aggravated assault an aggravated battery charges in Fayette County, Georgia after the two allegedly pistol-whipped a groundskeeper, Jonathan Zamudio, who was working on his home. According to reports, the Florida rapper was having work done on his Fayette County home when he got into an altercation with one of the groundskeepers. The altercation allegedly was sparked because the groundskeeper—who lives on the property—had people over for his birthday in Ross’ house without permission the night before. Ross was released on $2 million bail and the case is pending.

Rozay and his legal team have filed documents against Zamudio claiming that the man is lying about the incident and cite the 911 call from Zamudio as proof. The call, which can be heard below via TMZ, was placed three-hours after the incident does not mention an assault by the rapper and his bodyguard or any sustained injuries:

The legal documents, which were sent to XXL and call for the assault/kidnapping civil suit filed by Zamudio to be dropped, say that Zamudio was trespassing on Ross's property without permission and that the pistol-whipping claims are an attempt to extort money from the rapper. In early September, Zamudio took a photo with 50 Cent that Fif made public on his Instagram. Ross and his lawyers are using the photo as ammo in court and say that 50 Cent instigated Zamudio's attempts to extort Ross.
