T.I. Congratulates Floyd Mayweather After Win Over Manny Pacquiao
Despite their past problems, T.I. took time out to salute Floyd Mayweather Jr. after the still undefeated champ won the welterweight title last night (May 2) by out boxing Manny Pacquiao. Shortly after Money May's win was announced, the Atlanta rapper posted a photo on his Instagram account from the fight that shows the now 48-0 boxing catching Pac man with a jab to the face. The caption reads, "Congrats to Cuzz on another W... Preparation+Opportunity = Victory However u slice it... #NeverBeenAHater"
About a year ago, congratulating Mayweather was the last thing on the Kang's mind. In May 2014, the two entertainers got into an altercation at a Las Vegas, Fat Burger. After the scuffle rumors spread that Tip was sporting a shiner from a blow received from the world class boxer. Harris later denied the claims with the now famous quip, "Where dey at doe?" during an IG video post. The two traded verbal jabs with rumors swirling that Mayweather had slept with the rapper's wife Tiny, which she denied. A few months later, T.I. said he would no longer feed into the drama by talking about the boxer. Things have since died down in the public view and it looks like the animosity is no longer fuming behind the scenes either.
