Today (April 16), a Los Angeles County judge ruled that Suge Knight will have to stand trial for murder and attempted murder stemming from a January hit-and-run incident in Compton. According to the Los Angeles Times, the judge made the ruling that there was sufficient evidence to force Knight to go to trial, despite a convoluted preliminary hearing that saw the key witness recant most of his statements to authorities, insisting that he's "no snitch." Cle “Bone” Sloan, one of the two men whom Knight hit with his car in a parking lot--the other victim died from his injuries--claimed that he did not remember any details of the incident.

Other news from court today might be more to the Death Row founder's liking, however. TMZ reports that Knight's bail, which had initially been set at $25 million, was slashed to $10 million, an amount that sources close to Knight say the mogul could post as early as today. When the larger figure was first read in court, Knight fainted and had to be attended to by members of the medical staff; his counsel responded that the price was exorbitant and that the proceedings were beginning to resemble the television show Empire. After the hearing Knight was rushed to hospital for an unspecified medical emergency, according to Daily Mail.

XXL will continue to have up-to-the-minute details of Knight's trial as it unfolds.
