Homicide investigators are recreating Suge Knight's fatal hit-and-run incident that took place in January.

According to TMZ, the L.A. county sheriff is working in conjunction with prosecutors and are currently recreating the scene. In the video above, authorities are seen using dummies to help. Witnesses tell TMZ that they're also using Knight's truck from the incident. Suge's defense is that he is partially blind and reacting to a group of men that blocked him from driving onto the street, instead he drove into the Tam's parking lot. This claim will be addressed in the reenactment.

Knight appeared in court two days ago (Apr. 8) and was seen chained to a wheelchair. After the court appearance, Suge's lawyer claimed that the chaining was to "humiliate" his client. Last month, Suge collapsed in court after hearing his $25 million bail. He's also had several heath issues over since his arrest three months ago.

Suge Knight has been charged with murder and attempted murder. Terry Carter, 55, passed away after being ran over while Cle "Bone" Sloan was left severely injured. Another part of Knight's defense is that he was simply trying to flee what he believed to be an armed assault by Carter and Bone. Sloan reportedly told police that he assaulted Knight just prior to being struck by the mogul’s Ford truck.
