Curren$y Pays Homage to Stanley Kubrick in “Rhymes Like Weight” Video

Curren$y closes out a busy week with a new visual for "Rhymes Like Weight," a track from Monday's Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes EP. Once again, Spitta proves that less is more as he maneuvers through the track with just a camera, some slick lighting and eye-catching art from various Stanley Kubrick films as the backdrop. Curren$y is completely in his element throughout as he sits back, lounges in a sweat suit and smokes a huge joint. Shot in 4K (the "highest" definition) by CJ Walls, the video pays close attention to details and you'll catch something new with each playback. The New Orleans MC can't stop working and "Rhymes Like Weight" is another clip to add to his growing visual catalog. Peep it above.

Spitta has been on quite the roll to start the spring of 2015. After dropping Pilot Talk 3, Spitta followed with a 4/20-release of Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes, the third installment of his Car Tunes series. Along with multiple visuals and loosies, Curren$y also released another track with Wiz Khalifa from their upcoming project #2009. With the summer right around the corner, an announcement for a tour and maybe another project from the veteran MC could be coming soon.
