And just like that, April has pretty much arrived, and with it, the eager anticipation that comes from the looming releases of some of the best hip-hop the music world has to offer.

At the top of the month, Young Dolph will drop his Bulletproof project. It will be his first release since his SUV was shot several times about a month ago. Next up will be YFN Lucci, who's Long Live Nut EP drops on April 4. The project should put the rapper at least a few steps closer to true stardom.

On April 7, the rap world will get plenty of lyrical helpings in the form of Tech N9ne's Dominion album and Joey Bada$$'All AmeriKKKan Badass. That same day, Allan Kingdom's LINES will hit streaming services and shelves across the U.S.

A week later on April 14, wordsmiths Talib Kweli and Styles P will drop their joint EP, The SevenRich Gang will drop their Rich Gang II: Lifestyles album the same day.

As you can see, April has more than its fair share of heavy hitters dropping projects On April 21, Oakland's own Kamaiyah will drop her mixtape, Don’t Ever Get It Twisted, and Brooklyn's Stro will drop his Grade A Frequencies album.

Last, but certainly not least, is In Bank We Trust, the late Bankroll Fresh's posthumous album. Bankroll was murdered just over a year ago, but his legacy will live on in his new project.
