Nav Wants the Rookie of the Year Crown on New Song “Freshman List”
Before he kicks off his Freshman Tour with Glam88, Nav shares his latest song, "Freshman List."
Produced by Charlie Handsome and Rex Kudo, "Freshman List" finds Nav bragging about why he's already one of the best artists out. "I was made for this shit, rookie of the year/I wouldn’t show up for the Freshman list/Your swag expired, you ain’t fresh like this/Shit on all my haters, I’ma make them pissed," he raps during the hook.
The Toronto artist also delivers his signature melodies that fans have grown to love. "You wanna see me fail because I’m balling/You a fake and we ain’t got nothing in common/You didn’t pick up when you saw me calling/So you wouldn’t catch me if you saw me falling," he sings.
The Perfect Timing rapper's tour kicks off on April 24 in Santa Ana, Calif. before he and Glam88 make stops in Houston, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto. The 20-date trek wraps up on May 23 in Detroit. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Before dropping "Freshman List," Nav last dropped a song in late December when he teamed up with Smokepurpp on "Phone." The artist also dropped an animated video for the the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted "Wanted You."
