It seems that these days, we're averaging less than a handful of Missy Elliott sightings per year, and her name just cropped up for the first time in a little while. The good news is that it involves new music; the intriguing thing is that it's not exactly what you'd expect.

The second annual K-Con convention, billed as the largest K-Pop convention in North America, took place this past weekend, and Missy had been added to the bill earlier this month after collaborating with headliner G-Dragon on a track off his forthcoming album. During the fest's closing performance, she came out to debut that collab, called "NILIRIA," complete with some fresh choreographed dance moves.

The song sounds pretty fly—definitely more her lane than the usual K-Pop material—which, just like the two seemingly unattached singles she dropped last year—will only stoke the flames for fans looking for a followup to 2005's The Cookbook. Check the video of Missy and G-Dragon premiering the track above.
