Missy Elliott to Release Two Singles Labor Day Weekend

What has Timbaland all excited?

His good friend and longtime collaborator, Missy Elliott, is set to release two new singles this Labor Day Weekend. The veteran producer took to his Twitter over this past weekend to break the news about the oddball Virginia rapper.

“oh snapp yall my sista @MissyElliott is droppin her singles #9thinning and #triplethreat labor day weekend,” Timabaland tweeted. “watch it world we back!!!”

The singles are tentatively scheduled to be part of Missy’s seventh solo album, Block Party.

Missy hasn’t released a solo LP since The Cookbook in 2005.
