Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes Prepare Actors Morgan Freeman and Peter Dinklage for a Tongue-Twister Battle
Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes are headed to the world of Super Bowl commercials. Recently, teasers for a new Mountain Dew and Doritos ad featuring both artists surfaced on the internet, and in it, they prepare The Bucket List star Morgan Freeman and Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage for an epic tongue-twister battle.
The whole thing will air during breaks in the 2018 Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 4.
The new advertisement teasers which promote Pepsi's latest creations—Mountain Dew Ice (a lemon-lime beverage) and Doritos Blaze (a hot and spicy variation of the chip)—find Missy and Busta approaching the two actors as they sit in a dark room and prep themselves for their showdown.
To train for their duel, Freeman and Dinklage rattle off a series of tongue-twisters as quickly as they can. If you've followed Missy and Busta throughout their career, you already know they know a couple things about using a rapid-fire flow. Especially Busta.
"I don't know what you came to do, but I ain't come to lose—faster," Busta shouts at Dinklage in the commercial. The actor responds by uttering the "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck" tongue-twister.
Missy's not as rude as Busta, but she pretty much gives Freeman similar instructions, telling the acclaimed actor she wants to hear some conviction in his "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" tongue-twister.
By the end of the ad teaser, Freeman and Dinklage appear to be on the right track. Now, the only questions are, who will win their battle and what exactly goes into it? We'll just have to wait and see.
