Migos and Chris Brown Involved in Confrontation at 2017 BET Awards
Last night, the 2017 BET Awards went off mostly without a hitch, but the afterparty was apparently a different story. TMZ reports that Migos and Chris Brown got into a confrontation after the star-studded awards show.
According to the celebrity gossip site, C. Breezy had just finished premiering the video for his Future collab "Pie" when the action popped off. Witnesses say Migos, who took home the trophy for Best Group at the awards show, and Breezy were walking into a venue near Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater when a member of Breezy's crew pushed Quavo. From there, a member of the Migos' entourage jumped into the action, but was immediately punched.
For his part, C. Breezy—perhaps wanting to avoid anymore legal trouble—apparently kept it moving without being directly involved in the scuffle. That didn't stop people with the three Atlanta rappers from following him and surrounding his car, though. The cops showed up, but C. Breezy was able to leave the scene unharmed and the action had already dissolved by the time they arrived.
While the confrontation might seem random, it might actually be far from it. If you've been following Quavo, you likely know about his rumored romance with Karrueche Tran, C. Breezy's ex-girlfriend who recently hit the singer with a restraining order because of his allegedly abusive behavior.
As soon as those Quavo-Karrueche rumors surfaced, people began speculating that C. Breezy would have a problem with it, and considering Quavo was the first person to get pushed in this purported scuffle, maybe he does.
