Meek Mill had some difficulties in Canada yesterday. Last night (July 28), Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint Tour made its way to T Dot, where Nicki and her guests performed at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. During the concert, Tinashe, DeJ Loaf and Rae Sremmurd took the stage. Meek Mill was set to perform at 8 p.m., but the Philadelphia native was nowhere to be found at that time. Nicki's DJ, DJ Boof, kept the concert going by playing radio tracks.

According to a concertgoer, Meek was tied up with issues at the Canadian border.

Dreams Worth More Than Money

The fact that Meek took so long to hit the stage makes you wonder about his alleged "border hold up." Following Meek's accusations that Drake uses a ghostwriter, Norm Kelly, a Toronto politician, stood up for the Canadian rapper, telling Milly he's not allowed in the esteemed city. The message was likely a joke, but since the "All Eyes On You" rapper experienced issues crossing the border, perhaps it wasn't.

Unless you've been living under a rock the past week, Drake and Meek have been exchanging words all crazy. It started with Milly accusing Drake of using ghostwriters, followed by a low key response from Drizzy via social media. Legendary DJ Funkmaster Flex dropped a reference track for Drizzy's "10 Bands" and claimed to have more, which led the T Dot rapper to take matters into his own hands and drop "Charged Up." Drake took a couple of shots at the "Check" rapper, who used his set on Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint Tour to throw more shade Drake's way. Meek was also supposed to drop a response, but that never happened. At last night's show, fans were hoping Meek Mill would finally respond, especially since he was in Drake's city.

Drizzy came for Meek once again this morning (July 29) with "Back-to-Back," so perhaps now Meek will step into the ring. In the meantime, check out some of the most hilarious memes about the feud that are circling social media.
