Lupe Fiasco’s ‘Drogas Light’ Album to Feature Rick Ross, Ty Dolla Sign and More

On Dec. 24, Lupe Fiasco announced that his Drogas Light album will release on Feb. 10. Today (Jan. 6), the Chi-town rapper unveils the tracklist, which features Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign and more.

Ty Dolla $ign is slated to appear on track number two, "NGL," as well as track nine, "Kill." Meanwhile, Rick Ross has a guest spot alongside Big K.R.I.T. on track eight, "Tranquillo." Other guest features include Bianca Sings, Gizzle, Rondo, Simon Sayz, Victoria Monet, Salim, Jake Torrey and RXMN.

All of this is good news for Lupe fans, as the Food & Liquor MC recently threatened to quit rap altogether. “I get the hint God,” he wrote on Twitter. “Yo Lupe fans it’s been fun and I hope you’ve had fun. I’m officially not releasing anymore music. Albums cancelled.”

One Reddit user, who recently attended a Lupe show, explained the title behind the upcoming album, citing issues with the label. “[Lupe] said he could never fully give himself to an album while with Atlantic, so the real Drogas will be released after a ‘lite’ version with Atlantic,” the user wrote.
