It took more than three years for Lupe Fiasco to release his third album, and now that it's ready to come out, he's making sure people are well aware.

With Lasers dropping next Tuesday, March 8, Lupe has scheduled a slew of press appearances. The Chi-town spitter has scheduled appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Sirius/XM radio, 106 & Park, MTV's The Seven, Lopez Tonight, a taping for MTV's Spring Break. Fiasco will also be doing a live show at Sirius on Sunday, March 6, which New York area fans can attend by emailing 1stand15th@gmail.com.

Though it doesn't come out until next week, Lasers leaked a few days back, and fans and critics alike have been reacting to the project. Sensing some negative feedback, Lupe responded via Twitter this past Tuesday. “I never thought lasers would inspire so much negativity,” he wrote on the microblogging site. “Reading the comments and reactions is crushing.”

“To all the Lupe fans who protested and petitioned you did a GREAT thing,” he continued. “Don’t let people belittle what u achieved. You forced a massive corporation to bow to the whim of the people. That’s a glorious thing. Love always shines everytime remember 2 smile has always been a ‘note2self; the product of trying to figure a reason to keep going.”
