‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ Season 3, Episode 5 Recap: Safaree Confronts Nikki, A-1 and Lyrica Tie the Knot

After Fetty Wap witnessed his daughter's birth and Safaree opened up about his breakup with Nicki Minaj on last week's episode of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, things pick up with Lyrica and A-1, who attempt to diffuse the situation between their mothers. While the proposed truce didn't go as planned, A-1 still decides to surprise Lyrica with the new ring he bought for her. She's ecstatic about her new gift and her tears are transformed into a smile.

Shanda meets up with Teairra Mari to vent about the drama plaguing her personal life. Teairra admits to having admired Shanda and Willie's relationship from afar, but she quickly notices that all is not good in paradise. Shanda says that Kyesha has been harassing her on social media and she feels that she's stalking her. She also discloses her desire to pursue a singing career, for which she has already found an intimate venue to perform at and is eager to showcase her talents.

When it comes to Nikki Baby, she's exploring her sexuality and her intimacy with Rosa Acosta, but is unsure of what the future holds for herself and Safaree -- she's unsure how he will fit into the big picture. She meets up with Teairra Mari and Nia Riley to share the big news of who she's been seeing, but when she name-drops Safaree, her friends get apprehensive about him due to his rumored legal battle with Nicki Minaj. They're fearful that he is not the right type of man for her. Nikki accepts her friends' advice and listens to their concerns, but seems set on continuing both relationships in secrecy.

Ray J, Princess, Lyrica and A-1 meet up for a double date and details from the spat between Lyrica and A-1's mothers are shared. Ray J and Princess are taken aback by the troubles between their friends' parents and suggest that the two love birds elope and take matters into their own hands -- a proposal that the couple is not opposed to.

The night of Shanda's showcase arrives and Teairra Mari is in attendance to support her friend. But things take a turn when Kyesha shows up at the same showcase Shanda is at and performs a diss song aimed at her. In the song, Kyesha details her own sexual encounters with Willie. Deciding that enough is enough, Shanda begins to heckle and taunt Kyesha from the audience and the two get into a physical altercation.

Safaree links up with A-1 and Fizz to get some insight on his relationship with Nikki Baby, being that Fizz has also had his own dealings with her. When Safaree broaches the topic of Nikki, Fizz is caught by surprise, but upon hearing the details, he sees many similarities in how Nikki treated him during their own fling. He informs Safaree of the possibility that Nikki could be seeing someone else. Being that he prefers to be in a committed relationship, Safaree is willing to see things through with Nikki, but says that if she has any other men on the side, he's willing to cut ties with her.

Lyrica attends one of her mother's performances and the two discuss the engagement along with the recent friction. She is also fearful of losing her daughter and that may play a part in why she's unable to let go of Lyrica. She also shares her concerns about Lyrica committing to A-1 for the longterm and marrying into his family. However, Lyrica appears unfazed by her mother's words.

Shanda has penned a letter to Willie detailing her desire to take a step back from their marriage to figure things out in her life. While she promises her decision will not affect their children, she does ask that Willie be 100 percent honest about his history with Kyesha.

In light of his conversation with Fizz and A-1, Safaree decides to pop up on Nikki Baby to air his grievances about her recent actions and her inconsistent ways. After telling Nikki about his meeting with A-1, he shares his concerns about what the future holds between the two and why she's been so distant as of late. Nikki, who appears to be annoyed by Safaree's approach, questions why he's having these doubts. She believes his past experiences with his relationships are clouding his judgement. Safaree takes offense to Nikki's reaction and says that she has the issues, not him. However, when Nikki attempts to make nice with him, Safaree appears to cave in to her sweet nothings and is clearly under her spell.

A-1 and Lyrica have decided to move forward with their marriage and elope, but Lyrica is a bit disappointed in the fact that her mother isn't present to celebrate the occasion with them. Despite their parents not being around to witness their union, the two walk down the aisle together and make their marriage official, but Lyrica senses that the trouble that plagued them at home will be awaiting them when they share their union with their parents. The looming encounter between both mothers and their children should make the next episode of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood a must watch.
