Logic Joins Big Gigantic for New Track “All of Me”
Logic decided to create a sequel to his 2014 song "Nikki" for his latest collaboration. Colorado electronic duo Big Gigantic enlisted the help of D.C. rapper for their new single "All of Me" featuring Rozes. Instead of simply dropping a generic verse, Logic revisited the story of his battle with nicotine addiction from his debut album Under Pressure.
"What the fuck would I stay for/Why the fuck would I pay for her/Stunting is just gonna kill me/Nikki, I'm still me but I'm just better/It's been six months since we touched last/But I grow fast with this letter/And I swear to God that I'm better," Logic raps.
Big Gigantic actually created this beat for Logic a few years ago. But the artists did not get a chance to complete the record until earlier this year.
"I made the beat for 'All Of Me' a couple years ago and played it for Logic when I first met him at one of his shows here in Colorado," Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic said. "Fast forward to last winter I was in NYC working with Rozes and she came up with this incredible hook on the spot for this tune. It was magic. We got in the studio with Logic a few months later and he came in and knocked it out of the park and took the song to a whole new level."
"All of Me" will appear on Big Gigantic's upcoming album Brighter Future which is due out Aug. 26. You can pre-order the album now on iTunes to get an instant download of the Logic collaboration.
