Metro Boomin swears that his Twitter beef with Young Thug wasn't a publicity stunt. The reason? He and Thug have a new song out today, and perhaps even mixtape on the way. A happy coincidence then? It's not like Thugger or Metro need to drum up any attention. They're each poppin' wheelies on the zeitgeist in 2015, producing some of the most compelling and texturally rich sounds of the year.

"Hercules" is more of the same from both, with Metro conjuring that brooding sense of impending slap, while Thug scats and dances overtop in irregular spurts and inflections. It's the type of union that paints any feud between these two, imagined, fictional, petty or otherwise, as nothing more than a disservice to the listening public. The make-up track hints at that long awaited Metro Thuggin mixtape perhaps being on the way. Regardless, "Hercules" is a much needed sign that these two will continue to collaborate, miscommunications be damned.
