Listen to Puff Daddy and The Family, “Workin”

Through new presidential administrations, financial collapses and a half-dozen paradigm shifts in hip-hop, Sean Combs has remained on top of hip-hop, at least financially. Now that he's retconned the whole history of name changes, Puff Daddy is ready to hit the top of the charts and award seasons again. Making Money Mitch and No Way Out 2 are both apparently on the way, and his Pharrell-produced single, "Finna Get Loose," heralds the forthcoming release of the latter. (The 1997 original beat out Wu-Tang Forever, Missy Elliott's Supa Dupa Fly, Wyclef Jean Presents The Carnival and The Notorious B.I.G.'s Life After Death. No Way Out featured the Biggie tribute "I'll Be Missing You.") His latest effort, credited to Puff Daddy and The Family, is a bottom-heavy exercise that might not recall Clinton, but could incite some shimmying nonetheless. Listen below:
