In October 2000, Ja Rule dropped his second album, the hit-stuffed Rule 3:36. It would go on to be certified triple-platinum, largely off the strength of its massive second single. "Put It On Me" featured Lil Mo and peaked at #8, making it the second-biggest single of her career to that point, and the high water mark for Ja. Now, improbably and a decade and a half later, there's a sequel of sorts kicking around on Soundcloud. Since dropping "Wake Up" earlier this month, 50 Cent's former (and current, kind of) sparring partner has been uploading music with absolutely no fanfare or promotion. "The Memoire (Pt. 2 U & Me)" is meant to revisit the early aughts, specifically the block parties sure to break out during the dog days. And that's not all: on "New York Giant," Ja is slinging something decidedly harder, still hoping for a new Tunnel to open Uptown.
