Rome Fortune teams up with noted producer Toro y Moi for "Pitch Black," a bouncy, trap-inspired joint that finds Rome on his heart breaker ish.  Rome finds himself going from the "coolest motherfunker on the planet" to the "loneliest motherfunker on the planet" and love is to blame. Fortune's slow flow and rangy voice sound great over Toro y Moi's jumpy production and despite the frequent beat flips, the rapper never loses focuses and kills the track. Hopefully we'll get more collabs from Rome Fortune and Toro y Moi as the two have great chemistry and complement each other's styles nicely. Check out "Pitch Black" above.

Fortune, who hails from Atlanta, was featured in XXL's "The Break" section back in Nov. and spoke about his status in the ATL. "I am one of the connectors of Atlanta," said the rapper. "From hood stuff to indie stuff, to visual to style, everything. I’m one of the people in Atlanta that’s really been pushing stuff forward for a minute to unite different cultures. A lot of people don’t know that. A lot of people think I’m popping out of nowhere, which is awesome because that’s like new attention. But I really have been doing stuff for a minute."
