Reginae Carter, the 12-year-old daughter of rap superstar Lil Wayne, is attempting to follow in her dad's footsteps by becoming rich on her own terms. Not surprisingly, all is going according to plan. Carter is reportedly making $2,000 per episode, plus expenses, for frequent appearances on her mother's reality show TOYA: A Family Affair.

The rate was revealed through documents that the show's producers were legally obligated to file in L.A. County Superior court due to Carter's status as a minor. With an 11-episode guarantee from BET, the young Carter stands to make $22,000 for her first season and has a guaranteed five percent raise for each additional season.

TMZ reports that Carter has opened an account for her substantial preteen earnings. The plan is to keep her money safe and earning interest until she turns 18-years-old in 2016.

TOYA: A Family Affair premiered on April 12, 2011 and earned 1.5 million viewers in its first night.

Lil Wayne, who in a recent interview with Hot 97 personality Angie Martinez, showed a lack of interest in viewing the program, is still prepping the release of his long-awaited Tha Carter IV. The record is now set for June 21. —Carter Maness
