Lil Wayne Works On ‘Tha Carter V’ In Newest ‘Weezy Wednesday’

Lil Wayne has been hyping up Tha Carter V for the past few months and in this week's episode of "Weezy Wednesday," Wayne gives us tangible proof that he is working on the album. During the two-minute clip, the camera follows the YMCMB superstar into the booth where he spits bars for tracks from his upcoming album.

Afterwards, a mumbling Weezy tells the camera, "It's important to take time on words. It matters what you say....Right now I'm working on that Carter V."

The clip was shot on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning as Wayne left the studio and headed straight to the ESPN set for his appearance on "First Take."
