Lil Wayne is eyeing 2013 for the release of Tha Carter V album.

Weezy made that clear during a live online chat with ESPN during the X Games (for extreme sports like motorcross, bmx biking and Wayne’s favorite skateboarding) in Los Angeles last Sunday (July 1).

When a fan asked him about the next installment in his incredibly popular Carter series, the Young Money boss said: “Carter V will come most likely next year.”

Although Wayne kept rather mum on what’s sure to be a highly-anticipated project, he did answer a separate fan’s request to collaborate with Eminem again soon.

“Thank you—I will,” Weezy replied.

The rap superstars have collaborated on “No Love” and “Drop the World” together.

Before the Tha Carter V can see the light, however, Wayne is eyeing the release for his I Am Not a Human Being II album.

Birdman and Young Money president Mack Maine recently told MTV News what fans should expect about that album.

"What he created with this I Am Not a Human [Being] II is a perfect work of art, and he's just being Tunechi," Baby continued. "Really though, he's one of the greatest artists ever, and his work ethic and body of work gonna show that. It's an incredible album."

Added Mack Maine: “Just expect greatness, expect somethin' that you never heard before," he said. "It's a new Wayne, a new and improved Wayne."
