Lil Wayne, Birdman to Headline First Sucker Free Awards Show

Lil Wayne will headline the first Sucker Free Awards show alongside YMCMB head honcho Birdman. The live show will be held at LIV Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Sunday, December 4th and airs on MTV2 at 11PM ET/PT.

While Weezy, who nominated for both “Artist of the Year” and “Classic Album” categories, is scheduled to perform, DJ Irie has been tapped to be the house mix master, DJ Khaled will appear as a guest commentator and MTV's Sway Calloway will be on hosting duties.

Other categories for the Sucker Free Awards include Rookie of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Album of the Year. Artist Like Big Sean, Tyler The Creator and Wiz Khalifa are among the nominees.—Deondre Clark
