It appears as though Lil Wayne and Birdman have settled their differences and are now back on good terms.

Signs of a quell in the rift were on display two weeks ago when the two were spotted partying together with other members of the Cash Money family at Drake's New Year's party. On Sunday night (Jan. 17), Tune and Baby were again spotted together at Club LIV in Miami, and this time the two were partying like it was 1999, with no signs that there was ever a problem between them.

In video captured of the public truce, the Cash Money CEO acknowledges his love for Weezy and confirms that Jr. is a lifer. “This my motherf*cking son and I’ma die for him, I’ma live for him and I’ll motherf*cking kill for him,” Baby tells the crowd. “That ain’t gon’ never change, n*gga. It’s YMCMB for life,” he adds while Lil Wayne stands beside him.

This breaks what has been a longstanding issue between Birdman and Birdman Jr. dating back to December 2014 when Wayne took to Twitter to express his unhappiness and his desire to leave the label. From there things started to get ugly with Birdman reportedly refusing to let Wayne off the label.

The Cash Money head honcho was even implicated (though never charged) in an attempt on the NOLA rapper's life. Those are accusations Birdman denies.

There's still the matter of the $51 million lawsuit that Wayne filed against the label last January which claims the Cash Money head shorted his protege on beaucoup ends. Will Weezy now let bygones be bygones and forget about the legal issues?

And will we finally get Tha Carter V? Things are looking up.
