Fresh off dropping his 180 mixtape, the ascendant Kur returns with a visual for "Come Back," a video for the first track off the project. Watch it below.

The new visual for "Come Back" finds the Philly MC on the run from several weapon-wielding masked men as he tries to make it back to his home. While we initially thought the dark and violent video might have been inspired by The Purge franchise, Kur's inspiration was drawn from a 1979 classic.

"The inspiration for the video was from the movie The Warriors," Kur tells XXL. "I wanted to make it like a short film where I was trying to make it back home, but I'm being chased by a group of guys in masks."

If you haven't seen The Warriors before, the film chronicles a turf war between rival gangs in New York. As you probably could've guessed from Kur's description, the film sees a few characters rock some frightening gear when they launch into battle.

The terrifying visual for "Come Back" mirrors the frenetic, ominous feel of the track itself, thanks to director Obe Cuatro. "It was dope to be working with him for the first time. He's super talented," the prospective 2017 XXL Freshman tells us.

Kur is only about two weeks removed from dropping 180, but he's got his eye on conquering the rest of the year with more new music. "My plans for 2017 are to drop a few more projects and videos—all work," he tells us. "I got a few different vibes coming, so look out for that... I mean some shit you wouldn't expect from me!"
