Kur unleashes his new Have Not EP as well as a new video for "Need My Shot." The rising Philadelphia artist delivers eight tracks with features from Coop, Lihtz and Chynna.

The EP features beats from Maaly Raw, Bndr, Don Cheese, Beat Bully and Infamous Rell. In the "Need My Shot" video, Kur rolls deep with his team inside a Philly house, smoking and turning up to the Maaly Raw-produced instrumental. It's a solid follow-up to Kur's previous visual for "Uptop Uptop." Although both of these songs are straight-up bangers, Kur recently told XXL that he prefers creating more thoughtful music.

He says, “I actually enjoy making deep, thoughtful, depressing, real life music more. The street music is cool, but that deep music… For example, my song ‘Everything I Wasn’t’ or my freestyle ‘Alone’ was tracks I enjoyed the most. Because it’s like you’re letting everything out. That was my venting point.”

Kur hopes to portray his unique, creative abilities in all his records moving forward, telling XXL, “[I want] to do new creative things that haven’t been done. For example more ideas like my ‘Upside Down Cakes’ or my ‘Heaven Or Hell,’ where instead of talking or downing somebody else, I talked about my self, and how I was a piece of trash, or at least that’s how I felt at the time.” You can watch the music video for "Need My Shot" above via YouTube.
