Kodak Black definitely seems to be making the most out of his time on lock down. On Friday (June 29), the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper revealed he has earned his high school diploma.

Lil Kodak announced the joyous news on Instagram. "I just received my high school diploma today and although it is a big accomplishment for me I am yearning for more," the incarcerated rhymer captioned a photo of himself. "I appreciate my teachers Mr. Williams and Mr. Ward for those times when I would get frustrated you worked diligently to make sure I had the right materials and was ready for this big day. Those Saturday classes and putting in over time studying paid of. Momma I know I’m late but I got it. #ThatsHowYouStep #CapAndGownPicsComingSoon."

Earlier this month, the "Tunnel Vision" rapper told fans of his plans to further his education. "Y'all pray for me i take my GED Ready test June 25," he tweeted. "If i pass that i take the real test June 28 & 29." It looks like he was able to make mama proud.

In other Kodak-related news, last month, he revealed he is working on writing a book. "I’m excited about this book I’m writing," KB tweeted. "I’m ready for the world to read it."

In April, the Project Baby was sentenced to one year in jail on gun and marijuana charges. There is a good chance he will be released before his full sentence is served.
