Kodak Black has been in a South Florida jail awaiting sentencing on a slew of charges stemming from a gun and marijuana possession arrest since January. Today (April 17), court records show he's been sentenced to serve 364 days behind bars. However, he does have a chance to get out on good behavior, and has already served 90 days.

Police originally stormed Kodak's home and arrested him after spotting his Instagram Live stream that showed him smoking weed and brandishing guns around a small child.

His arrest originally included charges of grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a Florida delinquent adult felon, possession of cannabis over 20 grams, child neglect without great bodily harm and two counts of parole violation. According to court documents, those violations reportedly include driving on a suspended license and “associating with people committing crimes.”

According to The Blast, the Heartbreak Kodak artist has been granted the opportunity to be freed if he shows good behavior. Since he's already served three months in jail after being arrested in January, he could be out as early as October. As previously reported, Kodak has been trying to better himself while awaiting trial, and was recently granted the opportunity to get tutoring for his GED after being let out of solitary confinement.

More time behind bars is definitely not welcome news for Kodak, but given that he was facing a maximum of 12 years in prison, his sentence could certainly have been worse.

The majority of those charges were later dismissed, with just the possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of cannabis remaining, which he pleaded not guilty to.
