Kodak Black Hops on Southside Production for “Just a Wrap Freestyle”
Kodak Black is back with his third new solo song since coming out of prison in early June (not counting the verse he dropped on Kyle's "iSpy" remix). Listen to "Just a Wrap Freestyle," produced by Southside, below. You've heard Kodak over Southside's production before on "Tunnel Vision."
Soon after he got out of jail, Kodak dropped "First Day Out" complete with a flawless video. Then he dropped an incredible track called "My Cousin" talking about a family member of his that had been shot that week. Now we get this one.
The song doesn't have any hook, instead finding the 20-year-old Broward County rapper flowing without any structure for almost four minutes. Only a rapper as captivating as Kodak can hold your attention for that long without a chorus.
