Kodak Black Cancels Show, Fans Chant “F@!k Kodak” and Swarm Bus
Kodak Black has apparently canceled his Boston show after leaving fans waiting in the venue—and they're not happy about it.
Videos are beginning to pour in on social media of a wild scene at the House of Blues in Boston where the "Roll in Peace" rapper was scheduled to perform Wednesday night (April 17). One fan posted a video inside the venue of the crowd chanting "Fuck Kodak!" claiming that they had waited for an hour-and-a-half before being told he wouldn't be performing.
Below is a video of fans exiting the venue, continuing the chant as they do so.
Once outside, a large group of fans swarmed a tour bus. It is unclear whether or not this was Black's bus, as TMZ is reporting that the rapper's team has no idea where he is. One fan shared a video of opening act Calboy appearing in a window of the bus.
Although entirely unconfirmed at this time, rumors are spreading that Black and multiple associates have been arrested. One tweet suggests they were detained at the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge—an international crossroad that connects the United States and Canada—for drug and firearms possession. The rapper's most recent show took place last Saturday (April 13) in Detroit.
No Jumper host Adam22 has also apparently heard rumors of the arrest.
XXL has reached out to Kodak Black's team and did not immediately receive a reply.
This is a developing story.
