King Los is back. Recently, the DMV-based lyricist returned with a three-track new project I Am Not a Industry Plant (The Prelude). Los hasn't dropped an album since his 2015 debut album, GodMoneyWar

The new three-track project finds the talented Baltimore rapper reflecting on his temporary self-imposed exile from the rap game, money, fame and more. As should have been expected, his bars are as sharp as ever.

"Govern my mind and my body, my soul, my metaphysics/I've transcended dimensions niggas have yet to visit/Yes, it's vivid, my essence exquisite, no pressure, precious, exhibits, eclectic, prolific/My sonic aesthetic is different," the former Bad Boy rapper spits on "R.A. S."

"Your prior work is fireworks/When you ain't shining, the thrill is gone, that's how it works/Everybody lookin' up at the sky/For God to work/Well I was made in the image of God, it gotta work," he continues, referring to either his own career or another rapper's.

There's no word on what's coming next from Los, but it could be coming soon. He said as much in an Instagram post he uploaded around the time of his new project. "Word on the street is the King back !! [the prelude]Artwork by @remain3k," he wrote in an Instagram post including the artwork for his new project. The post was taken down shortly after.
