Kendrick Lamar burned up the internet and airwaves yesterday with the release of his new single "i" and the rumor mill is now spinning. K.Dot appeared on Carson Daly's morning show on 97.1 AMP Radio and as the two shot the shit about the song, Daly pressed him a little bit about when fans can expect his next album. While Lamar stayed mum for the most part, he did reveal that he hopes to get the album out before the end of 2014.

“I’m hoping to push it out before 2015,” said K.Dot. “I’m gonna say that. I’m working hard in the studio.”

While the clock is certainly ticking if he plans to get the album out before the end of the year, TDE's CEO did say that every member of the group would be dropping a solo project in 2014. Right now, the only two members to not drop yet are K.Dot and Jay Rock.

While making the media rounds yesterday, K. Dot also appeared on LA's Power 106 and dropped a hint about another highly-anticipated release. Earlier this summer, Kendrick hopped on Mike Will Made It's "Buy The World" with Lil Wayne and with Tha Carter V allegedly coming soon, there are rumors that Kendrick will appear on Weezy's album.

“Me and Wayne worked," said Kendrick. “I don’t know if it’ll be on Tha Carter V, or it’ll be a leak. I’ve always been a fan of Wayne, so wherever it goes, it’s all love with me. I’m just honored to work with bro; he’s always been an influential cat coming up.”

Big things on the horizon for Mr. Lamar.
