Though Kendrick Lamar said rappers had until April 7 to get their stuff together, they've now been given a week to breathe.

Kendrick didn't drop the album tonight, but he did reveal the release date for the as-of-yet titled album: April 14. You can pre-order the album now via iTunes.

The tracklist hasn't been revealed yet, but we know the LP is 14 songs long, one of which is the lead single "Humble," produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Pluss. The song is expected to debut near the top of the Billboard Hot 100 next week.

A couple lyrics on "Humble" ended up causing some controversy when women took offense to Kendrick voicing his preference for natural women and their stretch marks. Peep the fallout on Twitter below.
