Kanye West is in the clear. Earlier today a court commissioner dismissed all charges against the rapper stemming from a 2008 incident at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) involving Ye, his road manager Don Crowley and an unidentified photographer.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Mark Zuckerman sentenced West and Don C to perform community service for the American Red Cross. TMZ.com reports that they both agreed to 50 hours of work each.

"I am very pleased the court granted dismissal of all charges," Kanye’s lawyer Blair Berk told the Times.

The Chicago native and his co-defendant were hit with eight misdemeanor charges in total, including battery, vandalism and grand theft, following their arrest on September 12, 2008. The men were caught on tape attacking a member of the papparazi and smashing his camera. The Grammy-award-winning artist faced upwards of two years behind bars, while his associate could have been away for five. Kanye has reportedly settled out of court with the photographer for the broken equipment. –Max G
