Kanye West and his road manager Don C. have officially been charged today (March 18) over their infamous scuffle with a photographer at L.A.X last year.

The Los Angeles Times reports that West has been hit with one count of vandalism, grand theft and battery by the L.A. city attorney’s office. Don C. racked up two counts of the same charges. If found guilty Ye could be behind bars for up to two and half years while C could serve up to five years.

Both men are set to appear at L.A. Airport courthouse on April 14th where they will be arraigned on the misdemeanor charges.

The Louis Vuitton Don and C, were arrested at L.A.X. in September of ‘08 after the two men battled with photographers who snapped pictures of the rapper at the airport. West confronted the man and Don C. later grabbed the photographer’s camera and smashed it on the ground. A video camera man caught the incident on tape. – Elan Mancini
