Juelz Santana Raps Like a Boss on “Drake Voice”
It looks like 2017 will be the year Juelz Santana makes his official comeback. The Dipset OG is back with new music. He releases "Drake Voice" today (Jan. 10), a three minute record that finds him rapping about his boss status.
The song is produced by Jahlil Beats, who samples Drake's verse on "Hype" off of Views. On the song, the Toronto rapper spits, "I feel like Juelz Santana/Leg hangin' out the Phantom."
Juelz goes in on "Drake Voice," rapping, "I'm Hype Williams with a handheld/Bobby Brown with a handscale/Y'all niggas on a treadmill/Just runnin' at a stand still/I'm that motherfucking nigga homie, that's just something that I can't help/All these sucker MC's, that's just something that I can't feel/Was I with your bitch last night, that's just something that I can't tell/Gotta fuck with niggas doing better/Can't fuck with niggas doing lesser/All these fake niggas doing extra/Til you put them underneath some pressure."
This new record follows up the rapper's "Santana Bandana" video that dropped last week. Santana has reestablished himself with songs like “Ol Thang Back” featuring Method Man, Redman, Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss. He also released part 1 and part 2 of his “Up in the Studio Gettin Blown Freestyle” and he delivered “Time Ticking” featuring Dave East and GS9’s Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel before that. Look out for his collaboration with Young Thug that is in the works.
