Joey Bada$$ and Troy Ave have been going back and forth this week after the two traded shots on their respective songs, "Ready" and "Bad Ass." In the latter, Troy takes aim at Joey's deceased rhyming partner Capital Steez, who took his own life in December 2012. Joey must have heard those shots because today he tweeted, "This brotha been buggin... Get him TF outta here... No mercy for this man."

Accompanying his tweet were screenshots of Troy's tweets from the past dissing Nas. "Nas is a weirdo," reads one tweet. "Nas is a sucka... cant keep his bitches under control," reads another. "This nigga Nas don't got no swag he jus raps," reads a third.

Yesterday (March 1), Troy spoke to Sway on the phone and continued his barrage of insults aimed at the late Steez. “He didn’t pass away. He killed himself. There’s a difference," says Troy. "God gave you life, it ain’t your right to take that. That’s a fact. I got niggas in jail who got life sentences, they might as well be dead. They could’ve traded their life for his…your friends speak to your character. I got friends that’s killing shit, his friends are killing themselves. We not on the same level. Don’t play with me.”

He also calls Steez a "dickhead" and "bozo" for taking his own life during the conversation.
