Jim Jones Speaks on Informant Rumors: “When the Clown Gives Out Information, Everybody Laughs”
During an interview on The Angie Martinez Show on Monday (Oct. 14), Capo addressed his name being dragged by the media and rumors circulating that he was an informant, which followed after the 6ix9ine testimony.
"For the most part...you never know that you're in the circus until you figure out you was looking at a clown," Jim told Angie. "When the clown gives out information, everybody laughs. But for the most part, everyone knows I'm a substantial individual—I've been doing this for a very long time."
The rumor started after someone on the internet posted a fake news story about Jim being an informant and 50 Cent reposted a deleted screenshot of the story and made jokes about it.
Jim acknowledged that the rumor made him very angry, but he calmed down and gathered his thoughts. "People don't read the facts, they read the ’Gram. It's a big difference, and people use the media to do what they do. They blow everything up out of proportion," he said. "As far as my feelings... Of course, it took me somewhere else at the moment when I saw it, but then I calmed down, sat back, laughed at it, looked at the person who was dishing it, and thought about it."
Jim then added that people spreading rumors like that are not honorable in his eyes. "I do say one thing: Where I'm from, real niggas don't do bullshit to tarnish people's name—at all," he affirmed. "That's not honorable. We don't got to talk about that too much. If you know me, you know me."
As far as 6ix9ine mentioning his name during his testimony and the alleged audio, Jim gave a firm "No comment."
