Jay Z, Gucci Mane, Jeezy and More Attend Beyonce’s Formation Show in Atlanta
Beyoncé stopped in Atlanta for her Formation World Tour last night (Sept. 26). It was a star-studded event to say the least: Jay Z, Gucci Mane, Jeezy and more attended the concert.
Jermaine Dupri, Young Thug, Ludacris, T.I., Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, Big K.R.I.T. and DJ Khaled also came through. The all-star crew of artists took a ton of backstage flicks, most of which ended up on Khaled's Instagram feed. You can scroll through all the photos below. Bless up.
There are a few things to note here. First of all, it was at this show that Beyoncé performed an awesome tribute to Shawty Lo, who died last week in a tragic car accident. Bey orchestrated a number to a mash-up of Lo’s “Dey Know” and her own “Diva,” sending the crowd into hysterics as she bops and shoulder pops across the stage.
Also, pay attention to how Hov and Guwop are pictured together in a few of the IG photos. Gucci has thrown shots Jay's way in the past, so it's nice to see that there are no hard feelings and the two are posing for pics together.
If you remember, the Trap God came for both Jeezy and Jay Z on the track "745," rapping, "Jeezy you ain't a snowman you more like a snowflake/Cupcake cornflake nigga you too fake/Beyoncé, oh that's your fiancée?/Jeezy is the appetizer, you'll be the entrée." In addition, on "Gucci Speaks 2" from The Burrrprint, Guwop states, "First question: Jay Z is the greatest rapper alive. Survey says: That's a lie."
Guwop also has a long history of beef with Jeezy, so it's interesting to see Gucci and Jeezy in the same building.
There are three more stops on Beyoncé's Formation World Tour. The singer will head to Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Sept. 29, then to Nashville's Nissan Stadium on Oct. 2, before wrapping up at East Rutherford, N.J.'s MetLife Stadium on Oct. 7.
