Jay-Z is having a lot of fun being a new father.

Moments after he announced that he’d be the curator and headliner for the Budweiser Made In America music festival during Labor Day Weekend in Philadelphia, Hov told Billboard that he’s putting Blue Ivy in front of any plans to make new music right now.

"I thought I would be more inspired to have all these new feelings to talk about, but I really just want to hang out with my daughter," Jay-Z told Billboard from the famous Rocky steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum on Monday (May 14). "I want to enjoy this time for what it is. I'm sure that bug to get back in the studio will come back at some point."

Hov’s statement comes after the British newspaper, The Sun, reports that Jay and wife, Beyoncé are moving to London for the summer.

“Both Jay-Z and Beyonce are going to be spending a lot of time in London over the next few months,” a source reportedly told the paper. “Jay is over here for his Watch The Throne Tour and Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Beyonce will be launching her perfume in Europe over the summer. They wanted to have somewhere more homely now that they are parents.”

Fans worrying about not hearing Jay rap, need not worry, though.

He and Kanye West will be launching their European leg of the Watch The Throne Tour beginning on Sunday in London at the O2 Arena.

“Tomorrow I leave to go on the [Watch The Throne] European tour - that'll be through June,” Hov continued to Billboard. “In July I'll take some time off, so when we get into August I'll have to prep for really this show and the arena show.”—Mark Lelinwalla
