The 2018 Met Gala last night (May 7) brought tons of amazing moments and looks from some of our favorite names in hip-hop and Hollywood, but Jaden Smith used his own music to stand out on the red carpet. While dressed in a fancy Louis Vuitton jacket, gold chains and sporting his blonde hair, the 19-year-old rapper brought along the gold plaque for his "Icon" single.

While other celebrities such as Rihanna, Cardi B, Migos, Childish Gambino and more stuck to the religious theme this year, Jaden continued his streak of unique entrances to the gala. If you recall, last year the actor brought his cut-off dreads with him, which he held in his hand as he walked the red carpet.

"Icon" has amassed millions of streams on Spotify and other platforms, which has helped him to earn gold certification from the RIAA. The song officially hit gold on May 9. Smith's debut of the plaque comes less than six months following the release of his SYRE album, which features the track.

The record became even more popularized after Will Smith reenacted Jaden's visuals for the song on Instagram in a hilarious video.
