After being arrested on Thursday (Aug. 22), Jackboy has been released and is back in the free world. He has broken his silence on what he claims was said to him by officers during his arrest.

On Saturday (Aug. 24), Jackboy hopped on Instagram Live to show fans that he was no longer in the possession of the state.

"Fresh out of jail," he exclaimed. "I'm gleeful. I'm back. I'm talking 'bout expeditiously."

Later on in the video, he claims officers on the scene when he was arrested recognized his affiliation with Kodak Black, who recently pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge, and insinuated Jack would be next to go down.

"You know what they said when they pulled me over? They said, 'We got Kodak, you next,'" Jackboy alleged. "I said this shit crazy. I was like, 'Look, man. I don't know what y'all got against Sniper Gang, but we not beefing. Y'all the police, we not beefing...Stop doing this. We not beefing, bruh.'"

Jackboy was arrested in Broward County, Fla. on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of weed, violating probation and automobile violations. An Instagram post shared his side of the story following the news. TMZ says police accuse the rapper of eating weed in order to hide evidence from officers who pulled him over last week.

"Before The Blogs Give 'They Version' For Clout! On His Way To Bring Football Equipment To The Youth Football Team @ Pompano Chief Park, Unforeseen Situations Took Place," the post shared on Friday (Aug. 23) read. "No, He Did Not Comment A New Crime! And He Says He Greatly Appreciate Each & Every One Of You & Lay Around For New Music Coming Soon. This Won’t Be Long."

Jackboy's probation stems from an aggravated battery and robbery with a firearm arrest in August 2017. In March, he was released from jail after serving seven months in Henrico County Jail in Henrico, Va. on unrelated charges.

XXL has reached out to the Broward Sheriff's Office for comment on Jackboy's claims.
