Things got a little bit out of hand at the release party for Gunna's Drip or Drown 2 album in New York City Thursday night (Feb. 21). So crazy, in fact, that fans rushed the entrance and caused a stampede.

The Atlanta rapper recently shared a video of the chaos that occurred at the event at Lightbox in Midtown, via Instagram. In the clip, a group of what looks like close to 100 people try to push their way into the venue. Many of them succeed, pushing security out of the way in the process. The people manning the door are eventually able to stop the influx of folks rushing in, but things were looking very crazy for a brief time.

Gunna commented on the melee in the caption writing, "This is What happen at my NY Experience ❗️ I LOVE my DIEHARDS❗️ #DOD2 Soon soon."

Reps for the rapper tell Page Six, “No one was hurt, thank goodness. By the time that happened, we were three songs in, and we weren’t letting anyone in, but a fan managed to find a way and so did other people.”

Fans were surely hyped to hear Gunna's latest project. The 16-song release features Young Thug, Lil Baby and Playboi Carti, with production from Wheezy, Turbo and more. It follows Drip Harder, which is his 2018 joint project with Lil Baby.
