Gucci Mane came through to New York to do a couple interviews recently, and he stopped by Hot 97 to talk with Funk Flex about losing weight in prison, why he never wants to go back and what he's got planned with Drake. You can watch the whole interview above.

At around the 10:50 mark, Flex asks Gucci about whether he's vibed with Waka since getting out of jail. Guwop's got a succinct answer: "I haven't spoken to Waka in three years." Flex tells him that's a long time, but Wizzop doesn't see it that way. "Not that long. There's people I haven't spoken to in 10 years."

Flex then asks him if that's a relationship Gucci would like to repair, and it's obvious Wop doesn't feel that way. "It's just done. I wish him well. I'm so concerned with the stuff I got going, I just did two albums in three months. I'm just trying to keep focused on what I got going. I can't be thinking about that. I can't trip forward looking back."

Gucci also reveals that he wants to work with 21 Savage, Young M.A, Dae Dae, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty, as he respects the young artists who make themselves hot.

As for Gucci and Drake's 6'ers collab project, Guwop wants to make it happen, but Drake's been on tour and Gucci just finished his new Woptober album, so they haven't had time to lock in and finish the tape.

And before the convo ends, Gucci reveals that he wrote an entire autobiography while he was locked up and has just secured a publishing deal for the book with Simon & Schuster. Look for that to drop next year.
