Gucci Mane Joins Blackbear in Video for “Do Re Mi”
Multitalented singer/producer Blackbear is an artists that's beginning to take off. His newest track, "do re mi" featuring Gucci Mane, peaked at No. 87 on the Hot 100. The video for the song was recently released and it's a strange one. The Atlanta OG can be seen chilling on a couch while a young girl who looks like she came from Children of the Corn sits down on Guwop's lap.
The video is actually referencing the iconic 1965's The Sound of Music film. Backbear can be seen playing on the guitar and singing to a group of kids, kittens and his love interest. Things take the turn for the worst when the woman he's courting sees Bear's cellphone. It's pretty hilarious to watch.
"do re mi" is off of Blackbear’s Digital Druglord album, which dropped April. He previously released his second single “Juicy Sweatpants." Blackbear does a wonderful job mixing genres like R&B, hip-hop and pop.
Guwop has been featured on a number of pop records such as Selena Gomez’s “Fetish” and Fifth Harmony's “Down” as of recent.
