Atlanta-Based DJ Genius Releases Gucci Mane Tribute Mix “Gucci’s Home”
Atlanta-based DJ/artist Genius has been churning out his Slumchat mixtape series, and today he releases the fifth installment, entitled "Gucci's Home," exclusively via XXL. The nearly 90-minute tape is dedicated to the one and only Gucci Mane just 24 hours after the rapper's well-documented release from prison.
The mix is a healthy blend of both old classics and new shit, making for a welcome listen regardless if you're a Guwop vet or simply a newcomer.
Now is the time to get familiar with Genius. He currently DJs for K. Camp and has previously worked with Migos, 2 Chainz, Travis Porter and Scotty ATL. Genius was born in a rural area of Jamaica and moved to the U.S. when he was 13 before developing a passion for making music.
