G4SHI Signs to Roc Nation, Drops New Song “Turn Me Down”

Brooklyn-based artist G4shi is on the come-up. Very recently, the talented up-and-comer signed with Roc Nation. He also dropped off "Turn Me Down," a melodic banger you should be hearing a lot more of soon.

Announcing G4shi's signing on Monday (June 12), the Roc Nation Twitter account tweeted, "Welcome to the #RocFam @G4SHI! Listen to his new single #TurnMeDown on @TIDALHiFi." G4shi used his Instagram to confirm the news the same day.

The move to Roc Nation comes as G4shi continues seriously gearing up for his forthcoming Stairs 2 album, and "Turn Me Down" is the newest single from the project. The first single was "Disrespectful."

"Turn Me Down" is a melody-driven wave of confidence, featuring plenty of boastful lyrics you might catch yourself repeating without even realizing.

"Swear they ain’t never gonna slow me down/When I’m in your city people hold me down/Ain’t no bitch in this place gonna turn me down," G4shi sing-raps on the track. "She say yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah/I’m getting money with my eyes closed/Just touchdown in Paris got my mind blown/They always watchin’ all of my moves/I’ll be in a game you just some side hoes."
