G Herbo Releases “Who Run It” Freestyle After High Praise From Drake

Since getting out of jail earlier this month, G Herbo has kept himself busy with music. The Chicago rapper appeared on Dallas K104FM radio station last week (March 16) for a blistering freestyle over Three 6 Mafia's "Who Run It" that caught the ear of Drake, prompting Herbo to release it as a song.

The Humble Beast artist posted a teaser of his conversation with Drake to his Instagram account, which had fans thirsty for an official release. Drake evidently slid into G Herbo's DM's and wrote, "Why you spaz on who run it like that. I been listening for like 5 days straight to the same 30 second clip. You should make that a song and just drop it."

The 22-year-old challenged fans after a push, captioning the conversation, "Big Bro said do it so I did it. 150,000 likes and Imma Drop That BITCH." The photo has since accumulated over 200,000 likes in just two hours. As a man of his word, Herbo delivered on his promise to drop the freestyle in its entirety.

Herbo has no problem handling the fast-paced Three 6 beat. "I'm makin' millions and I'm serious/That money come in furious/Can't count it, I get delirious/I bought my mama a mansion/So I can't trip over materials/But I'm still dipped in that fashion/Know I stay drippin', that's period," he spits.

Herbo stepped into the XXL office a while back to talk about what inspires him, and what we can all expect from him in the months to come. Evidently he didn't intend to keep fans waiting for long.
